My path to copywriting wasn’t exactly linear. I got my start in advertising as an executive assistant and in my free time, I ran a blog and a popular Instagram account. One of my executives saw my side project and asked me why I was wasting my time managing his calendar. I didn’t have a good answer for him so he immediately put me on writing projects. I quickly went from playing “Calendar Tetris” to creating concepts for campaigns and writing social copy for some of our biggest clients.
I love all forms of writing, but social media is my happy place. Nothing makes me happier than helping a brand find a way to be relevant and make a human connection with its audience. When not working, I can be found creating my own outdoor social media content or endlessly scrolling through Instagram and TikTok analyzing trends I want to bring to life in my work.
